AA Tourism has four great winter packages on offer for snow and ski enthusiasts, with plenty of off-mountain options for those who want to get out and about in New Zealand over winter.
The winter package options include:
Budgets’ Snow Smart
This package, only available in the South Island, offers snow bunnies a ‘skiarised’ vehicle complete with chains and ski racks, a discount book with 20 offers for activities and a two-for-one adult lift pass for each package purchased.
Ski Express is the complete, ‘totally sorted’ ski package. It comes with everything – ski passes, accommodation, transfers, lessons and ski gear. Ski Express can also arrange flights if required. For those that don’t want to ski everyday, the Completely Sorted Ski and Activity Pass provides a range of options for off-mountain activities. This offer is only available in the South Island.
Skiwi is perfect for adventurers that want to tackle the slopes and have the mobile comfort of a campervan. The great thing about Skiwi is that it is available for both North and South Island slopes. The package includes discounts on lift passes, ski rentals, lessons, as well as bonuses with meals and other activities and a $50 credit towards next year’s Skiwi trip for any unused ski passes.
Maui Winter Breaks
This special offer is for New Zealand residents only and has been designed to provide a short break for Kiwi’s to get on holiday and enjoy the campervan experience. While normally Maui vans can only be booked on a minimum five-day basis, this offer encompasses a three-day weekend – perfect for getting out and exploring the country during winter. A gourmet hamper and an adult pass to Auckland’s Kelly Tarlton’s is part of the package.
All packages are available for booking through local AA Centres from now through to October 2005 and are available to both AA Members and non-Members. Anyone who books these packages can go into the draw to win $500 of travel vouchers that can be used to book future travel through AA Centres nationwide. The competition runs until 30 September.
AA members also get the added benefit of earning AA Rewards Points, as well as entry into Swipe Out, when booking any one of these packages.
All AA Tourism winter packages can be booked through AA Centres nationwide.
