Are there any rules on changing a cars colour that would affect WOF/reg?

Hi there,
In the wof rules there is no specific mention of bodywork colour, however if the vehicle is deemed a hazard/ unsafe because of the paint finish (particularly chrome or mirror finish) then an inspector may fail it.
