I bought a Nissan Juke 2011 - 27900kms two months ago. However, the vehicle is leaking oil and upon inspection by a mechanic the timing cover is leaking. Under the engine it can be clearly seen a poor seal job attempt done to stop the leaking. This was not picked up in the AA report or WOF. Could I get advise on how the dealer or AA did not pick up on this issue?

This can happen sometimes if the vehicle is cleaned down and the leak not able to be seen at the time of inspection and now two months later it is visible.
I recommend going straight to the dealer and asking for a remedy, as it could be considered too soon to have purchased a vehicle from a dealer, to experience an oil leak.
