Hello there
We've been wanting to get something we can move around in as a family (7-seater) but also take genuinely off-road when we need to. We are flexible with our budget. We have looked at the new Outlander as that is popular in your recommendations and wondered if it had enough 4wd ability. We have also looked at the Patrol -- for all years including recent. We also saw a 2004 Hyundai Terracan V6 which we are getting an inspection report for to see condition. We are interested also in the Pathfinder as we thought that may have the best of both worlds! The slightly older models seem more rugged. But we dont mind the pretty new ones at all, as long as they can go for a decent off-road trip a couple of times per year is all we need. Thank yoU!

Hi there,
Not heard much about Outlander off road capabilities but yes it does look designed more for urban use. Nissan Patrols have always been viewed as rugged and reliable. Not heard much of the Terracan either good nor bad. Some other suggestions are more of a Ute based 7-seater like the Toyota Fortuna, Isuzu MU-X, SUV like a Toyota Highlander, or Hyundai Santa Fe,
