Can I buy, register and insure a vehicle if I don't have a New Zealand drivers license? I have a US license and passport with a permanent resident visa. Thank you

Generally your NZ license is used as ID, but if you can legally drive in NZ then you should be able to carryout all these three requests. You will need to purchase registration and change of ownership at a license centre instead of online as they ask for your NZ license.
