Hi there,

Continuing on my lookout for an affordable SUV, i am looking at the Euro folks as well.
These are BMW X1 , Audi Q3 & VW Tiguan.

Appreciate if there can be inputs on these in terms of driving dynamics, affordability, reliability. I am looking at something which is post 2012 and atleast 2000cc or above in capacity, good seating space(headroom/legspace) and good boot space for the class.
(we will be putting up a car seat , so that space usage is also considered).

Please mention the pros/cons of these to consider.

Thanks in advance.

The BMW X1 is dynamically ahead of the other German made SUVs but rear legroom is rather limited. The 2.0L diesel is the engine to go for with good fuel consumption figures and torque to please. The Audi Q3 is a looker but it's a difficult task to find a low mileage 2.0L diesel in the price range whereas the 1,4L petrol version is easier to find for the money but lacks the low down torque of the diesel. The same applies for the VW Tiguan , except the Q3 has a better look about it, and you will find the 2.0L diesel in the Tiguan is within your price range. You haven't mentioned a bad example of a small SUV with these choices.
