im looking at buying a2002-2004 Nissan xtrail and would like of any faults or things I should be aware of

Hi there,
This is the pre-facelift model and were prone to the catalic converter failing and the parts being sucked into the engine, causing cylinder wear and burn oil.
So I would just make sure the vehicle doesn't emit excessive smoke.
