I have recently experienced problems with the electronic key unlocking doors and opening the boot. Also sometimes get a message 'Invalid Key' when attempting to start. The batteries in the key is okay. Is this a known problem or any advice? Could it be related to a car battery fault? Any help would be appreciated.

I can see any common complaints or fixes listed for the Xtrail on this subject, however I have heard about a garage door remote causing interference if fitted on the same key ring.
It may be best to take all remotes you have and have them checked and/or reset at a Nissan agent.
