I have a 2000 Jaguar "S" Type 4.0 Lt V8.
It is kept as a classic and not used very often.
I use a battery charger. Power Train PTC3.5 Automatic Battery Charger.
Can this charger be connected to the battery for long periods without causing harm to the battery?
I can supply charger specifications if required.

Hi Tony,
I'm not familiar with the brand, but the charger you need is called a "maintenance" charger which is designed for long use with a very low output to keep a battery conditioned ready for use.
