I have a 2005 Subaru Forester and the drivers windown goes down perfectly but wont come up. If you flick the switch up and down it eventually slowly closes all the way.

Has this happened to anyone before and is it a broken switch or will a reset help?

If you've had the battery replaced, flat, or disconnected recently- then it will need resetting. Hold the switch to get the window all the way down and keep holding the switch in the down position for a few seconds, then work the window up and hold the switch in the up position for a few seconds and repeat and see if it works after this.
