I recently bought a Toyota Corolla Fielder, 2009 model imported from Japan in 2017. It features an electronic key fort unlocking and starting the car. Today the car won't start and indicates that the key is not present. The key also won't lock or unlock the car. Do these keys have batteries that can be replaced?

Yes the key has a battery in it that might need replacement, they can be found almost anywhere- supermarkets, key kiosks etc. As long as you can get it out and see what type it is.
