Hi,
My car’s front wheel is squealing when braking, It still has a good brake pads on it. Whats is the problem of my car? Do I need to change brake pads or resurface the rotor? What should I do?
Thanks
Ken

Hi Ken,
There are a number of things that can be done- the discs can be machined if they are showing grooves or the brakes are shuddering, the pads can have the edges taken off (chamfered) to try and quiet them down. The slides and clips can also be checked and greased if required to try and reduce friction. Sometimes the brake pads are not compatible with the discs and they are just noisy under light braking.
