I purchased a used car just a couple of months ago from a dealer (had it pre-purchase inspected) which is not the same brand as my car. It has developed intermittant issues with its electronics.

I called Mazda since they are the brand and they wanted to look at it - but since it came with a warranty insurance as part of the purchase I asked the dealer and they said talk to the insurance company, but that policy isn't too keen on covering electronic issues and they may not cover it.

I can't exactly ask the dealer themselves to repair it because they aren't set up for my brand but surely if the policy included with purchase specifically excludes it, doesn't the dealer have a responsibility under CGA?

Who's responsible if they can't find the source of the fault or even if they do, do I absolutely have to cover it either way?
