We recently bought a NZ new Fiat Ducato 2.8 litre. The Odometer is electronic.

Is it at all possible to tamper with these types of odometers?

Yes unfortunately, electronic odometers can be altered.

The AA offers a mobile service called AA Odometer Check that may be able to provide more information.
