Hi,
I will be leaving my car at a friend's place for a few weeks while we go on holiday. last time I did this for only about 10 days the alarm kept going off, apparently to let me know that the (1 year old) battery was getting flat. Could you let me know whether to remove both leads or just one and if one, which one. If both, which order to remove and replace. Also will the computer reset itself when I replace leads.
Thanks

Hi there,
I would try and not disconnect the battery terminals. A fully functioning batter should last a
few weeks without going flat.
However if you must disconnect one lead, you can take off the Negative terminal, and you will lose some memory functions, clock, radio stations, and maybe even the idle will reset when you start the car again.
