Hi
I have a 4door Toyota RAV4 2006 that I bought from a car dealer in 2017 with low mileage. When I bought the car it was already petrol 95. The car dealer advised me to use petrol 95 still. It's been a year now using petrol 95 and with the petrol price I was thinking of maybe changing to petrol 91. Before I change anything, I need to seek advice from AA first on which petrol suits my car depending on the engine. Here's my car details - 2006 Toyota Rav4 G Wagon 5dr Cvt 1sp 2.4i (Imp).
Pleased to hear, thanks.

Hi there.
While we can't see any specs for most imports, I can see that the NZ new Rav4 has the same engine and is listed on our information site as taking 91 octane fuel.

Hi Cade, so in this case it should be okay to use 91? Im a bit worried that if I change petrol it might cause some problems with my engine.. But if you are saying that the new NZ rav 4 takes 91 then I should be fine to use 91.
