Hi, could you please advise the recommended petrol octane for a Honda Steam 2008. I was initially told by someone that the petrol shouldn't be 91 octane because it could cause issues with the catalytic converter, is this correct?

Hi there,
Because this car is a Japanese import, fuel specs are not available. However most Japanese Domestic models are tuned for the lower octane 91 fuel. 91 Octane fuel is not reported to be harmful to a catalytic converter.
