Can you please shed light on what is the excise duty for imported bunker fuel oil for industrial use?

It is categorized as free from the port, however, I can't find any information on duty (or levy) charges by the government.

As in the past with similar questions, I have asked our Senior Policy Analyst and spokesperson on this topic Mark Stockdale to answer:

You are quite right that there is no excise on bunker fuel. The price you would pay will be the landed cost, which reflects the commodity price (in US$) adjusted to the NZ exchange rate, plus shipping, with no taxes added.
