Hi I recently brought a Mazda Axela 2005 20s and it has been run on premium 95 fuel. Would it affect car if I switch it to 91 regular ?

Switching to 91 shouldn't affect the car, the NZ new Mazda 3, 2ltr is listed as taking 91 octane fuel.

For imported vehicles, it is extremely hard, while most Japanese domestic vehicles can run 91, it's safest to use 95 where the specs are unknown.
Sometimes we can look at the NZ similar vehicle and obtain a recommendation, but this is more for vehicles 2010 onwards.
