I forgot to get my car registration which lapsed 2/7/2019, got a ticket for $200 today 16/8/2019, I went and got registered today 16/8/2019 and the new rego shows expires 2/7/2020.
Is it possible now the cars registered to get off this fine? How do I go about it
Any tips much appreciated

Hi there,
All you can do is go back to the issuer and send them evidence the license has been updated and see if they will overturn the ticket. I've only heard of this applying in a Police infringement situation. But you can only try.
