Forum Motoring Rules & Regulations Aluminium wheel nuts?

Took my Mazda Axela in for a wof today and it failed for having aluminium wheel nuts? Is there a law banning the use of aluminium wheel nuts on normal passenger vehicles?

Yes there is a new warrant of fitness rule forbidding the use of aftermarket aluminium wheel nuts.
