The entry level equipment found on the GLE 250d diesel model is of such a high standard, one would think there is no room for improvement. But, for Mercedes, this is just the beginning. The platform includes LED headlights with the Intelligent Light System, Driver Assistance Package PLUS, 19 inch wheels, 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive, KEYLESS-GO, an EASY-ENTRY (power) tailgate and COMMAND navigation with the innovative touchpad.

Outstanding levels of safety

The GLE also arrives with exceptional standard safety features including 9 airbags, DISTRONIC PLUS with steering assist, Stop & Go Pilot, PRE-SAFE Brake and Plus, Crosswind Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, and Active Lane Keep Assist.

Also on offer for the first time in this segment, is a fully electric, extending and retractable trailer coupling, which also includes ESP trailer stabilisation.

But wait, there’s more...

There are 5 total engine and model choices, each with that little something extra, whether it be more power, comfort, style, or flat out AMG top-of-the-line luxury. Every model comes with Mercedes Dynamic Select so you can instantly dial in your driving preference or condition. Also included is an off-road setting for mild terrain.
