Full motorcycle licence assessment
PLEASE NOTE: AA MOTORCYCLE TRAINING IS CURRENTLY ONLY AVAILABLE IN SELECTED AREAS OF THE BAY OF PLENTY AND WAIKATO REGIONS. WE PLAN TO ROLL OUT MOTORCYCLE TRAINING AND TESTING NATIONWIDE AT A LATER DATE.
The Competency Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) for your full motorcycle licence. This assessment will look at your safe riding skills and if you pass you will receive a certificate that you can use to apply for your full motorcycle licence.
The appointment is for one hour to allow for fitting and removal of communications equipment and administration, but the assessment ride will be approximately 30 minutes. You must wear suitable protective equipment, an approved helmet, gloves and be in possession of your driver licence. You must ride a LAMS approved motorcycle with an approved L plate attached. WoF and Registration must be current and displayed. The motorcycle must be in a warrantable standard when inspected before the assessment. If your machine is not compliant or your clothing is not appropriate, the assessment will not be conducted in the interests of your own safety.
A motorcycle can be arranged at a small charge if you do not have access to one.
