  • What happens if I lose my AA Membership card?

    If your AA Membership card has been lost, stolen, damaged or is not swiping you can order a replacement here or log in to MyAA.

    Alternatively, you can send us an email, call us toll free on 0800 500 444 Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm or visit your nearest AA Centre.

    The lost card cannot be used to redeem discounts.

  • How do I sign up for MyAA?

    You need to sign up for MyAA with an email address and password. For security purposes, you’ll also need to complete a one-off verification by confirming your email address. Once this has been completed, you can login quickly next time.

  • My email address has changed, how can I update this?

    You can update your email address by logging in to MyAA. If you haven't already, you'll need to first sign up for a MyAA account and complete our online registration process.

  • Is it possible to exchange my Starter Session, Driving Lesson or Senior Driver Coaching Session for cash, a gift voucher, or a portion of my next AA Membership fee?

    Credit and bookings are non-transferable. Please cancel your booking and request a refund on an unused Starter Session, Driving Lesson, and Senior Driver Coaching Session when logged in to your online portal, should you no longer require the training. Your refund amount will be for the amount paid at purchase.

  • How can I switch instructors once I have chosen one or if I don't like the lesson I've received?

    You'll be able to choose your preferred instructor, as well as the date and time, during the booking process by logging into the online portal. If you have already booked a particular instructor and then wish to change please cancel your booking/s and re-book with a different instructor if available.

  • Is it possible for me to take both manual and automatic driving lessons?

    During the booking process, you'll be shown a list of available driving instructors and their vehicle transmission type and you can make a selection. You may also be able to use your own automatic or manual transmission vehicle, this can be discussed directly with your driving instructor. 

  • Is it possible to transfer credit from one family member to another?

    Credit is non-transferable; if training is no longer necessary, please request a refund from your online portal and the fee will be credited back to the credit / debit card used for the original purchase.

  • What type of vehicles do our instructors instruct in?

    Our instructors all drive dual-controlled vehicles in either an automatic or manual transmission. These are ANCAP4* plus Suzuki or Holden vehicles that are current and safe.

  • What does the instructor's insurance cover?

    Each instructor is responsible for his or her own vehicle and insurance. Please confirm the specifics with your instructor.
