Backpaddock Lakes

Backpaddock Lakes is one of only a few commercial water parks in New Zealand that has cable wakeboard systems.

The cable lake system is a great place for both adults and kids wanting to learn to wakeboard and waterski. With beginner and advanced courses specifically designed for wakeboarding, riders can enjoy a safe and fun environment.

The main lake is also great for paddleboarding, kayaking and optimist yachting. Backpaddock Lakes has a flotilla of optimists, a quiver of kayaks, life jackets, a small tender boat and all the other gear you'll need.

All equipment is available for hire at Backpaddock Lakes, so you just need to bring is your togs (or wetsuit) and a towel.
