Pelorus Mail Boat

The Pelorus Mail Boat is one of the two last standing licensed New Zealand Post rural delivery services that operate by water.

Aboard the Mail Boat, you'll visit isolated homesteads nestled in secluded bays to deliver crucial supplies and mail the way it has been done for decades.

Cruise alongside mussel farms to see why Pelorus Sound is the Greenshell mussel capital of the world, spot seals and dolphins and soak up the scenery of the Marlborough Sounds.
