Wairua Lodge – Rainforest River Retreat

South of Whitianga, hidden away on a country road just off the 309 Road lies Wairua Lodge – a sanctuary of nature and calm.

Lodge guests have access to the large private estate, with native bush walks and a sparkling stream for dreaming and swimming. The tranquility of this place is enhanced by native birdsong as you sit around the Swiss fire ring in the evening, or bathe in the outside bath to the call of the ruru.

Guests are welcome to use the conservatory kitchen and dining area to prepare lunch and dinner, and continental breakfast is provided to all suites.
