Blue Pearl Gallery

Main Wharf, Akaroa, New Zealand, 7520 - View the map

Blue Pearls come from New Zealand abalone, also known as paua or Haliotis Iris, only found in the cool clear waters close to the New Zealand coastline, and it is these creatures which possess the greatest range of colour and iridescence of any abalone shell. In the Blue Pearl Gallery, on the Main Wharf in Akaroa, our jewellers design and craft the Blue Pearl jewellery right in front of you. You can see the entire creation process from start to finish - from sketch, to Blue Pearl setting, to the completed piece. Come in and enjoy these unique Kiwi pearls!

We will be CLOSED June 7th to August 1st.

Current hours are:
Wed & Thurs: CLOSED
