Alpine Springs Motel is unique, private and peaceful set in an acre of park-like gardens next to Hanmer Springs golf course which is located at the quiet end of our village, away from the noise of the pub's activities and the thermal pools but still only an 8-minute walk to the main centre via a scenic walkway. Hanmer Springs is set in a unique alpine basin some 380 metres above sea level, surrounded by a circle of mountains which means stunning alpine views in all directions and a unique micro-climate.
Located in the famous alpine village of Hanmer Springs just minutes from the world renowned thermal pools and spa. Only a 1.5-hour scenic drive from the garden city of Christchurch and its international airport. Alpine Springs Motel offers beautifully equipped studios and family units for the discerning traveller assuring a peaceful luxurious stay. All apartments are air-conditioned by heat pump which means warm in winter and cool in summer, most units have double size spa baths, some with walk-in glass showers.
