Whether you're into hiking, want to get out on the glaciers, soar across the Southern Alps or relax in the Chamois Bar & Grill with a game of pool- we've got you covered. All in one of New Zealand's most amazing destinations. All rooms include ensuite bathrooms, linen, refrigerator and a patio or balcony so you can soak up the stunning scenery offering a complete alpine experience. Our cosy Chalets are located a short stroll away from the Mt Cook Lodge & Motels and are fully equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom and open plan living area. The Chamois Bar & Grill is located in the complex and offers a relaxed, casual environment serving pub style food, cold beer, quality wine and spirits all at very affordable prices. Hire a mountain bike at the Mt Cook Backpackers Lodge. Rent for an hour or a full day and cruise through the incredible landscape around Aoraki Mount Cook Village on your own two wheel adventure. Bikes are available from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm everyday. Talk to reception to book a bike today as availability is limited. Helmet, cycle map, bike lock and pump included.
