Mission Estate Winery
Mission Estate is New Zealand's oldest winery, with a well-respected reputation as a producer of consistent, high quality wines. The beautiful old seminary building has been faithfully restored and is home to the Cellar Door and fine-dining Mission Restaurant. The Cellar Door offers tastings and a full range of award-winning wines and wine-related gifts, with historical tours being conducted twice daily, at 10.30am and 2pm. Mission Estate's world-class restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor fine-dining where visitors can enjoy delicious cuisine, outstanding wines, and magnificent vineyard and city views. The restaurant also caters for weddings, corporate functions and special occasions. Cellar Door: Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday 10am - 4.30pm. Restaurant open daily 10am until late.
