Centrally located in the beautiful alpine location of Ohakune village, the nearest town to Turoa ski field, only 45 minutes from Whakapapa ski field, adjoining the Tongariro World Heritage National Park and 30km from the Whanganui River National Park. The Hobbit specialises in self-contained and serviced accommodation with luxury spa bath units with mountain views, studio units, 1 and 2-bedroom units. The Hobbit also has backpacker bunk rooms with linen and bedding supplied. Our facilities include: wireless internet connection, Sky TV, electric blankets, outdoor spa pool, play area, guest laundry and drying room. Cooked and continental breakfasts available.
