Colonial Motel offers comfortable and convenient accommodation less than one minute from State Highway 1 for easy travel North and South. Our 10 spacious units have a unique blend of original wood features and modern facilities including free WiFi, air conditioning/heating and newly upgraded bathrooms. There is also ample space for additional parking. Conveniently located at the entranceway to Papakura, Colonial Motel is only 19 km from Auckland International and Domestic Airports and 30 km from Auckland CBD. Colonial Motel is positioned only 300 metres away from the New Zealand Bloodstock Centre and just a few minutes drive from Papakura town centre, making us an ideal base for guests attending the annual Karaka horse sales. A short drive will also take you to the Papakura RSA, Massey Park Aquatic Centre and Stadium, Hawkins Theatre and Bruce Pullman Park. Colonial Motel offers 10 comfortable, non-smoking units, each with free WiFi, heating, Sky TV, and full kitchen facilities.
The units are continuously undergoing refurbishment and renovation to improve our facilities and ensure
that guests have the best possible stay. There is parking available in front of the units and extra space to accommodate large vehicles.
A guest laundry with iron and ironing board is available.
Cooked and Continental breakfasts are available on request.
