Rakaia River Holiday Park is only 40 minutes south of Christchurch Airport on State Highway 1. Our tree-clad, sheltered park has power and tent sites, including some suitable for buses and large vans. Our accommodation includes motel units, cabins and a fisherman's cottage. We have a large adventure playground, swimming pool and new TV/recreation room. The river provides great salmon and trout fishing and we are close to golf courses and Mt Hutt ski field. Restaurant, hotels and supermarkets are all within a 5-minute walk. Member of Family Parks.Winners of Ashburton District Tourism Award 2009 Holiday Park Sector.
