Waikite Valley Thermal Pools

Address:
648 Waikite Valley Rd, RD 1, New Zealand, 3077 - View the map

Waikite Valley Thermal Pools Springs & Spa is a unique place to go to experience the 'Living Waters' of Waikite Valley. Each of the ten pools, ranging in temperature from 35-40°C, is drained and refilled daily with fresh, calcite laden, geothermal water, so a pure bathing experience is guaranteed. After enjoying our unique waters, explore the Eco-Trail. The relaxing stroll to Te Manaroa Spring, the largest single source of 100% pure boiling water in New Zealand, is often followed with a bite to eat from our cafe. Sit in the spacious outdoor seating area or under the covered patio looking out over the pools and onto the valley beyond. Guests of the adjoining 20-site campground, with shower, laundry and kitchen facilities, are entitled to free use of the outdoor pools. Situated 36km south of Rotorua on SH5. The ideal place to relax all year round..
