Motutere Bay TOP 10 Holiday Park provides a central base to enjoy all there is to do in the Taupo region, whilst being the only place you can put your caravan or tent right on the shore of Lake Taupo! There is so much to do all year-round and we can help you organise it all, whether it be summer or winter activities.
We are perfectly located, only 20min from the centre of Taupo and 45min from Whakapapa ski fields. Relax by the water¹s edge and soak up the tranquil atmosphere while still being close enough to the comforts of town.
Our Holiday Park offers a range of accommodation, including quality self-contained and non-self-contained accommodation that is suitable for everyone including, families, couples and small groups on all budgets.
We have self-contained units as well as cabins (without bathrooms) for the budget-conscious.
There are fully serviced, powered sites as well as multi-use unpowered grassy sites available for all types of recreational vehicles such as caravans, motor homes, campervans, camper trailers and tents. You will be given a choice of being on the lakefront, or elevated on the hillside - looking over the lake to Motutaiko Island. All sites are conveniently located to an amenities block and kitchen. We also provide free activities for the whole family over our Christmas school holiday season and FREE WiFi all year-round.
