Waitahanui Lodge

Address:
SH 1, Waitahanui, New Zealand, 3378 - View the map

Whether your'e a fisherman, thrill seeker or just need to relax this is the spot for you Steeped in history, the first lodge was built in 1932 as a fishing lodge and catered for keen trout fishers from all over the world and included dignitaries, celebrities and even royals. In 1955 the lodge was rebuilt on its present site on the lakeshore for fishermen who loved the simple down to earth cabins. More recently, upgrades and renovations have brought the lodge up to date but the soul of the lodge remains.
