The Great War Exhibition

Dominion Museum Building, Pukeahu National War Memorial Park, Wellington, New Zealand - View the map

The Great War Exhibition, created by Sir Peter Jackson and supported by ANZ, adjoins Pukeahu National Memorial Park. It is one of Wellington's treasures and a must-see when planning your itinerary for New Zealand's capital city. It tells the story of the First World War in brilliant colour, bringing the ordeals of this pivotal time in history into the modern day, helping us to understand the hardships endured by those who served and those who stayed behind.

The Great War Exhibition is housed in the historic Dominion Museum building and is open 9am-6pm every day except Christmas Day.
