Natural waterfront setting with personal service and free wifi Set on a private peninsula fringed by 200-year-old pohutukawa trees only 10 minutes from Whangarei, the idyllic holiday park is a nature lovers' haven with abundant bird and marine life. Situated at Tamaterau on the shores of Whangarei Harbour, the park has waterfront sites ideal for camper-vans, caravans and tents. Accommodation includes cabins, kitchen cabins, and self-contained holiday houses. On the water's edge is a BBQ house that can be booked for private functions. A separate kitchen has cooking facilities and a fridge/freezer. Other features include a boat ramp, safe swimming and excellent fishing. Public tennis court and 18-hole golf course are nearby. A 20-minute drive will take visitors to a selection of white-sand coastal beaches, surfing and bush walks. 7 minutes to the airport and Onerahi Shopping Centre. Seasonal tariffs (2 persons): Powered sites $43-$59, Cabins $59-$99, Holiday Houses $129-$199. Minimum stays may apply at peak times.
