Situated at Tamaterau on the shores of Whangarei Harbour, the park has waterfront sites ideal for camper-vans, caravans and tents. Accommodation includes cabins, kitchen cabins, and self-contained holiday houses. On the water's edge is a BBQ house that can be booked for private functions. A separate kitchen has cooking facilities and a fridge/freezer. Other features include a boat ramp, safe swimming and excellent fishing. Public tennis court and 18-hole golf course are nearby. A 20-minute drive will take visitors to a selection of white-sand coastal beaches, surfing and bush walks. 7 minutes to the airport and Onerahi Shopping Centre.
