Wings over Wairarapa really does live up to its acronym. With stellar aircraft displays set against stunning scenery, you can’t help but say WOW. 

From 22-24 February 2019, Wings over Wairarapa celebrated the 20th anniversary of aerial action, with an extravaganza of aircraft.

Marvel at UK glider team Airborne Pyrotechnics, gasp at the aerobatic antics of the The Royal New Zealand Air Force Black Falcons and be amazed by the largest flying collection of WWI aircraft in the world from the Hood Aerodrome in Masterton. 

Ground-based activities include fascinating aviation displays, food, wine and market stalls and the chance to get up close with a huge selection of military, civil and agricultural aircraft, plus gyrocopters and helicopters.
