We have a Ford Ranger and find the ride is quite rough although it's great for towing the caravan. Even when without the caravan on the back it feels every bump in the road. Hubby saw an article on an Aussie website about gas shocks added to a Ranger so we are wondering if this might be the answer for us. What can you advise?

Hi there,
I recommend speaking with a Ford dealer, or an off-road/ 4x4 specialist to see if the direct shock replacements help in this regard. We've not received any information to say if these shocks help.

Thanks. We have since spoken with another Ford Ranger owner who has added Old Man Emu Suspension and was very pleased with the difference it makes. We have spoken with a company that does them and he has offered us to take their Ranger for a drive to test the difference as it has been fitted with the suspension. So tomorrow we will test drive and then go from there.
