I have just purchased a 2007 Ford Focus C Max. I am enjoying the car except for one thing. It is a Japanese import, and shortly after I start the engine an Asian voice either gives me a warning or welcomes me to the car. As it is in Japanese, I am unsure which it is.
Is there an easy way to disengage this message or change the language on it?

I suggest you pay a visit to your local auto electrician and see what can be done. Changing the message to another language will not be an option, the best and most inexpensive fix will be to try and disconnect the voice message without creating a problem elsewhere.

It may not be as easy as it sounds.
