We are touring Italy soon and ordered an automatic car (difficult as 99% manual transmission) a Nissan Micra has been offered but we want to know if our two large suitcases will fit and be concealed from view.

A lot may depend on the exact model Micra you have hired. A new model was launched recently which is quite different in body style to the previous model.

If it is the current shape, I’m sure the local Nissan sales staff would not mind you having a look at a showroom model in regards to available boot space and privacy.

There is also a high chance an old model will be on their used car yard to check out as well.
