Please advise correct tow ball height and where this is measured to; top of tongue, center of ball, top of ball etc.

As a guide, the tongue should be approximately 300mm to 400mm from the ground, but there is no hard and fast rule.
It is important that the downward weight on the towbar does not exceed manufacturer's recommendations, so the trailer drawbar should be as parallell to the ground as possible.
