I just bought a 97 Grand Wagon. Down by the handbrake there are two switches. One is the snow switch to lock the diff, the other one isn't. The picture on the switch looks like a window with a demister and a windscreen wiper. I can't detect anything happening when I turn it on, although the light on the switch comes on and stays on. Any ideas what it's for ?

We were scratching our heads on this one, but having made enquiries on your behalf, we're told that your car actually has a headed wiper blade for when the window is iced up and the blade is stuck to the glass. Thanks for your enquiry - we live and learn!
