Hi. I just recently bought a 2010 Suzuki Swift from a dealer. The car uses smart key technology and I'm just wondering how do we change the battery when it runs low? It doesn't appear to have any screws or any openings. Do I need to get a new key when the battery runs out? If so, how?
When I purchased the car, it didn't come with a user manual and hence I'm a bit confused.

Thanks AA

If the key doesn't have a lock/unlock buttons on it then it will only have a transponder chip inside of it which doesn't use a battery. If the key head has the lock/unlock buttons on it then it will have a battery located in the casing which can be replaced. If the battery is discharged then you will not be able to remotely unlock/lock the vehicle but the car will still start with the key.
