Hi there,

We have a 2004 Toy IST. According to the Toyota dealerships these were not sold NZ new and no parcel shelf/cargo blind is available for them out of the parts network. This is a bit strange as I've seen a couple of ISTs on the market with the cargo blind. Is there any place that may sell a generic? Otherwise I was looking at building one myself out of MDF and suede material. Is there anyway I can find out if the Vitz/Yaris tray fits in that car> I understand that Vitz's being more commion might have more trays in the market

It seems the newer models are fitted with parcel trays but earlier models are not. You should visit some pick a part (used parts) yards and hopefully you can find one that fits your vehicle - but if your vehicle wasn't designed to have a parcel tray it won’t work as it will have no base to sit on. A good radio shop or upholsterer might be able to make something for you.
