We have an old trailer that doesnt say how much weight it can carry. Where would I take it to find out that information? Is there such a thing as a trailer certifier?

Assuming this is a light trailer, there's nothing you need to (or can) do. In the event you are talking about a heavy trailer, H.V.E. may be able to assist.
