We are wanting to buy a small SUV currently looking at BMW X1 vs Nissan Juke vs VW Tiguan vs Mitsi ASX. Which ones would you recommend in terms of reliability

Generally speaking, European cars seem to start costing more in repairs after around 10 years. The Juke has had a few transmission issues. The ASX has seems to be quite reliable as we have not been made aware of any serious flaws as of late.

Thanks very much for the info very helpful for us. One follow up question. ASX vs Qashqai in terms of reliability again. Would the Qashqai have CVT issues? Quite like the shape of Qashqai that's why asking. Thanks heaps in advance

We've had some staff cars here with transmission issues, but maybe speak with a transmission specialist to see if it's ongoing or a wider issue.
