Hi there. I have a 2005 Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 manual. It has an oil leak by the shift shaft seal. Is this an expensive fix? Thanks

If it is just an axle seal from the side of the gearbox, then no it's not too expensive.
The seal should be around $30-$40 and might take a 1-1.5 hours to replace, the gearbox oil might need to be drained and filled with new oil also. All going well, I would expect the complete job to not cost more than $300.
